Urban Biking with Butterfield & Robinson

Urban Biking with Butterfield & Robinson

Biking and outdoor adventure company Butterfield & Robinson has done it again! Their newest trips, a foray into the bike-friendly urban landscapes of Boston and Vancouver, are a departure from their usual rural-focused itineraries.

The new trips will take place this fall, a splendid time to experience Boston’s vibrant seasonal foliage and Vancouver’s crisp Pacific sea breezes. Special departures will be led by B&R’s President Norm Howe in Vancouver and special guest George Butterfield himself in Boston.

The Boston trip, a four-day exploration by foot and bike, explores the city’s history and vibrant modern identity:

Ride through the beautiful neighborhoods of Cambridge to Franklin Park, visit the vibrant Chinatown, and pull over for local oysters and farmer’s market fresh food, retiring at the end of each day to the serenity of the Fairmont Battery Wharf.

And the Vancouver itinerary, a celebration of the jewel of the Pacific Northwest, will take on a similar structure:

Follow B&R’s plugged-in local guides through Van City’s choicest nooks and neighborhoods on high performance BMW hybrid bikes, visit mind-blowing food stalls in Granville Island, ride to the solitary beaches on the edge of the continent, and explore the miles of trails in Stanley Park’s rainforested heart.

We can’t wait to hear some feedback about these trips, and hope that these two trips are the frontrunners to many more urban biking itineraries!
