Lasting Luxury at AKA Extended Stay

Lasting Luxury at AKA Extended Stay

When the vast majority of us think of an extended stay hotel it is a very basic studio apartment geared toward business travelers on a longer assignment. Most of these come equipped with just enough of a kitchen that a kid with a dorm and an Ikea catalog would dream of. The staff and services consist of Joe Slacker behind the desk and a vending machine. Now, AKA Luxury Extended Stay is changing all of that.

Each AKA property comes equipped with large living rooms, full kitchens with enough high end appliances to make any foodie’s tongue wag, king sized beds, and luxury bathrooms. Don’t be surprised if you find a balcony behind those curtains. Complete with concierges, doormen, housekeeping, dining, fitness, and spa services every extended stay dream can be met. They are the ultimate in luxury real estate without a realtor.

AKA is making news due to its newest location’s hefty price tag. Their Beverly Hills property, the first on the west coast, is set to open on October 1st. This property is setting a minimum required stay of 30 days. With lead in rooms starting at $400 a night, the lowest bill you’ll ever see is $12,000. The property will consist of 88 one and two bedroom residences, private access multi-level town homes, and Penthouse suites. Taking up prime residence in the aptly named Golden Triangle at Crescent Drive & Wilshire Boulevard, AKA Beverly Hills is moments away from Rodeo Drive.
