Agent Review: Breezy Point Resort

“It’s a great day at Breezy!”  That’s the way the telephone is answered at Breezy Point Resort.  Situated on Pelican Lake in the Northwoods of Minnesota, Breezy is about 140 miles north of Minneapolis or 20 miles north of Brainerd, MN.  My husband and I have been traveling to Breezy Point Resort over July 4th for many years and we always look forward to our visit.

The resort offers a range of accommodations from standard hotel rooms, one and two bedroom executive suites, and vacation homes with 4-10 bedrooms.  The one bedroom suites in the log cabin style Inn and Suites have spacious bathrooms with Jacuzzis, comfortable living rooms with gas fireplaces, and sofa-beds.  The Galley type kitchen has a microwave, small refrigerator, stainless steel sink, table and chairs.

Breezy boasts two 18-hole golf courses—The Traditional course has served golfers since 1920 and championship White Birch.  All types of water-craft are available on the lake.  Tennis is available as well as biking and walking trails.

The casual Marina Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, overlooks the lake.  During the summer, Elvis makes an occasional weekend appearance drawing lively crowds around the Marina.  For finer dining, Antlers Restaurant is located on the White Birch golf course.

The small towns surrounding Breezy are also worth exploring.  Cross Lake, Pequot Lakes, Crosby, Nisswa all have shopping areas and antique stores.  When it’s time for lunch, try the Heartland Café in Crosby, and definitely try the homemade pies!

The staff at Breezy is friendly.  They go out of their way to make your stay relaxing.  It is a great day at Breezy.
